
Policies and Procedures
Policies and procedures are essential to helping us ensure we provide you with the best quality childcare provision that is compliant with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). These documents explain to staff and parents/carers what type of childcare we offer at Ducklings Pre-school and the actions we take to achieve this.
The EYFS requires providers to have written policies and procedures and to provide staff with training at their induction to ensure they fully understand, and know how to implement, the policies and procedures.
Each of our policies and procedures is updated as required when legislation or guidance changes. Our staff and committee review and adopt all changes to the policies and procedures as part of their continual professional development training.
